Week-6 My Reflections

Week-6 - My Reflections:

 Hello All,

This week  I learned how to create an interactive power point, creating stand-alone interactive tasks is my life ambition I never thought that power point can be  made interactive since last two years I have been trying/searching on internet to make interactive tasks for my students for that I tried micro soft  "LCDS" program to create Standalone Activities but its difficult and time consuming then I tried “ Course lab” software again I failed to accomplish my task now I got a good weapon to make stand-alone interactive activities on my own to use it in my class.

Thank you, Donna for bountiful resource to create interactive lessons of our own.
Here is the interactive power point prepared by me:....

Next task to commenting on other participants post I really appreciate the posts of Sonia, Alex Baltazar, Ayman Hegazy .Particularly the discussion with Ayman Hegazy is strengthen my knowledge of language teaching thank you Ayman for nice discussion.
My Project Task:
I have started my project implantation from 1st February onwards but I struggled a lot to move forward because of so many problems like power cuts, creating emails, preparing collaborative blog for my students, slow internet connection and repair of system etc.
Last week I gave a quotation,
"If we can really understand the problem, the answer will come out of it, because the answer is not separate from the problem."                                                                 By   Jiddu Krishnamurti
Certainly its true I got a solution i.e

This tool allows me to create students Blogs without emails it’s cooperative to:
    Create classroom discussions
    Learn digital citizenship
    Practicing writing skills
    Create an e-portfolio
    Reflect on learning
    Formatively assess writing
Here is the link to my kids Blog:

This has made me to bone up my project report, class blog and assignments and everything I am busy with these tasks see you then until next week.

  1. Mere pyare bhai Vinay,

I wrote a reply to your post in my blog page earlier. If you have time, please read it. I just want to reiterate that you always share something for us to ponder and to reflect. Your posts whether at nicenet or at blogger always carry some thought provoking statements. Thank you very much and thank you too for your kind and generous remarks.

I want to learn more about kidblog and will also try it in my classes. But I could not open the link you provided us. I saw the 9EM thing though. Maybe I just don't know how. I also like to create an e-portfolio. Do you have one? May I have the link? Remember, how you taught me to do the lay-out for blogger? I really learned from it. I guess my blog page improved after applying what you taught me. What do you think brother?

By the way, how old are your students again? Are you far from Mumbai?

    Hugs,

    Sonia

  3. Vinay dear,

Yes, it's like we are talking face-to-face, you are definitely right. Thank you for the link. I thought my students and yours are of the same age, so we can have them do voice thread as suggested by Alickja.

    Hugs,

    Sonia

  4. Dear Vinay,

I hope you do not mind but I am going to try http://kidblog.org/home/.

So far I have tried Nicenet and its quite a practical tool to use with students though it requires the email address to sign in.

Have you tried http://www.epals.com/login.php#action=/login ~ a learning community where you can register your class and they can discuss with friends from all over the world through the lounge?

    Regards Pam
