Week-8:My Reflections:
Hi Donna and All,
This is a week of fascinating wisdom; I was astonished
with the resources provided by Donna, and most of the tools I trialed here to
prepare interactive activities to my students to make the learning autonomous.
ANVILL is a mesmerizing tool which I was searching for
almost last two years. Earlier I prepared Blog post using different tools like
mexi cloud for audio files, YouTube for videos, Picasa for images now ANVILL is
a place where we can do all these things at one place, still something is
missing i.e. text to speech and speech to text if these options are available
ANVILL is implausible, miraculous tool.
Technology tools like SMILE, HOTPOTATOES are stimulating
and make my students more interactive and autonomous.
WEBINAR: Thank you Donna and Jeff for magnanimous
opportunity to attend a webinar first time in my life, certainly it’s a countless
experience for me I never imagine that a webinar should be like this it’s
incredible.
Project task: Thank you Daniel for your constructive
feedback, unquestionably I would make the necessary changes to my project.Here I learned how to use the check list in peer evaluation.

ReplyDeleteYour initial remark about the week that it is a ‘fascinating wisdom’ just suits to the real value of the week. This was really a fascinating one as you have told. It’s really a good thing that you have started preparing interactive materials and activities to make your students’ learning process autonomous.
Your excitement about ANVILL is also a true one as it has a lot to offer us. Your have also shared your personal experience and endeavor to find out a suitable site for last two years surely refers to your dedication as a teacher. I humbly salute you for such effort. Your observation about SMILE and HOTPOTATOES is also a genuine one. These two sites have also a lot to give, to help us to smile.
Your feeling and enthusiasm about webinar are also close to mine. This was also my first experience to participate in a webinar.

ReplyDeleteyes, ANVILL is really an amazing tool - I agree with you completely! There are so many options in it that you can practically design anything you want and work with your students in any way you wish. However, I'm not sure I understand you well when you mentioned the lack of speech to text and text to speech feature. I think it's not true, you can both write and record your voice at the same time there as far as I know. Maybe I'm wrong?
